Balanced Being Yoga

Foundational yoga to manage joint mobility, hip stabilization, and shoulder strength for
overall balance and flexibility.

After a short reading from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, learn how to create space for self-
observation and alignment. Balanced Being Yoga covers key principles while transitioning
through Asana, and life changes. This includes integrity with a firm, steady foundation.
Everything stacks firmly over the foundation and comes from the core. The lower belly and
lower rib engagement are essential so focus remains with the breath while in motion, aka inner
gaze.

A Drishti or fixed focal point is also discussed, and discovered to gently and mindfully
maintain strength, flexibility, and balance. We will also cover breath observation and transparent
observation with the fundamental position of emptiness.

Community Classes are donation-based classes aim to unite community and provide the opportunity for anyone to join at any time. There are no memberships or punch-cards. Each instructor will collect donations prior to and after class via electronic platforms such as Venmo, Zelle & Paypal. A cash basket will also be available.
